Cinco ranch has eleven pools between the Cinco I and Cinco II communities. The pools have splash pads, beach umbrellas for shade, and plenty of lounge chairs. Bridgeland is a wonderful community located south of 290, a little more then 20 miles outside of Downtown Houston, TX and North of Katy by just a few miles. The area is growing fast! It is a highly desirable area for many reasons. There are homes that can fit anyone’s budget. Bridgeland has a wide selection of established neighborhoods as well as brand new master-planned communities. Whether you want a home that has been lived in before, a new build home, or a home built to your specifications, Bridgeland has them all. It is far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to go catch a play in the theatre district of Downtown Houston or spend a day at the Aquarium.
Elyson is a master-planned community in Katy, TX just minutes away from the Grand Parkway. This makes it easy for residents to travel anywhere around the Houston area. Homes range from the $300’s to the $900’s. Elson is to a one of a kind, all in one community center called the Elyson House. At the Elyson House you can find the community pool with lap lanes (open year round), fitness center (open 24 hours, seven days a week), and it’s very own full service restaurant, the Elyson Café. There is also a game room with ping-pong, foosball, and shuffleboard. A TV is in the game room if your kiddos want to join their friends and watch a movie. The community has an event lawn that showcases family movie night, concerts, or a fun game of kickball. You can amp up your tennis game with one or both of the two tennis courts the community has. Falcon Ranch is located conveniently between 1-10 and Grand parkway in Katy, TX. It has 848 homes that range from the $300’s to the $700’s. This community has a pool with a water slide and a splash pad for the kids to enjoy when the Texas summers get hot. There are two playgrounds with sunshades to keep the equipment cool. A unique feature Falcon Ranch provides is a fishing park. Residents can come on down with their pole and fish the stocked pond. It has a community clubhouse that includes a full kitchen. Tennis courts are also available for residents to practice their back swing. Falcon Ranch has many walking and biking trails with two pedestrian bridges. Along these trails is a pavilion with a restroom facility, playground, and disk golf.
Firethorne is a community in Katy, TX located near I-10 with quick access to Katy Mills Mall. It features a recreational pool as well as a competitive swim center. They even have their own swim team, the Firethorne Firefish Swim Team. If you enjoy pickle ball or have been interested in trying it, Firethorne is the place for you. They have a pickle ball and tennis court. There is a fitness center with the latest models in exercise equipment and machines. The fitness center is open from 4am till 11pm everyday, including holidays. Firethorne has a sports field open from dawn till dusk for residents to be able to enjoy. The clubhouse at Firethorne is equipped with a banquet room, tables and chairs, full kitchen, and restrooms. With tables and chairs it can comfortably fit 92 people, without tables and chairs it can fit 197 people. There are lakes and plenty of trails for residents to enjoy as well.
Grand lakes is a master-planned community located in Katy, TX on 1,250 acres of land with 2,771 beautiful homes. Unique to Grand Lakes is its community garden. Residents are allowed to plant and pick vegetables, flowers, herbs, and small fruit plants. There are four pools, a splash pad, and a spray park. Grand lakes has its own swim team called the Grand Lakes Gators. You can bring your putter and putt along the relaxing putting greens. Your four-legged friends will enjoy the dog park and your kids will love the numerous themed playgrounds. Pavilion and gazebos are found throughout the community as well as walking trails. Grand lakes also has 27 fully stocked lakes to enjoy fishing from. There are also full-sized tennis courts for beginners and experts alike.
Grayson Lakes is a subdivision located in Katy, TX. It was established in 2003 and is designed around a small lake. There are 530 home with some being waterfront properties. Homes range from the $350’s up to a million. This neighborhood features a pool, clubhouse, tennis courts, and a playground. Grayson lakes is near I-10 allowing residents quick access to places like Typhoon Texas Waterpark, Dewberry Farm, No Label Brewing, and Katy Mills Mall. Residents can walk the many trails located in this subdivision and enjoy one of the four lakes on a sunset stroll. Seventeen fountains can be found around the neighborhood along with thirty acres of green space. All sorts of species of fish, turtles, and waterfowl can be found while walking around.
Nottingham Country is one of the older master-planned communities located in Katy, TX. This community was developed during the 1970’s and 1980’s but is well established and surrounded by shopping and dining options. The trees here are spectacular since they’ve been growing for over 50 years. Another special feature about Nottingham Country is that no home is alike. Each house is different so it makes for great diversity when shopping for a home. It has a population of about 5,000 people. Residents have access to a pool, diving pool, wade pool for kids, park with walking trail, eight different tennis courts, and a community center. There are various community events scheduled throughout the year and with the friendliest neighbors around it is sure to be a good time.
Seven Meadows is a subdivision in Katy, TX located between the Grand Parkway and Westpark Tollway. It has two pools for residents to use. One is the Central Park Pool, which has a splash pad and large water slide. The other pool is the Gaston Pool. This pool is a lap pool and swim at your own risk pool open from 5am until 9pm. It has its very own swim team, the Sailfish Swim Team. Seven Meadows has a fantastic clubhouse. The clubhouse has a conference room, event room, living room, theatre room, and full kitchen. The fitness center is available to all residents and is available from 4am until 11pm. You can also stay in shape by playing on one of the community’s tennis courts. There are various playgrounds around the neighborhood equipped with swings, slides, and picnic tables. There is even a fire truck playground.
Tamarron is a large master-planned community in Katy, TX that began building in 2014. There are about 4,000 homes located in the Tamarron community. It features a residential pool with two large slides, resembling slides found in a theme park. The pool also has a splash pad for the little ones that includes two smaller slides and a water splash bucket. The pool comes with large blue umbrellas for shade and plenty of lounge chairs. The playgrounds in Tamarron are equipped with sunshades so that children can play all year long. For those four-legged friends there is a wonderful dog park for them to socialize with their buddies. Tamarron also has a gorgeous clubhouse that can be rented out for parties or social gatherings.
Fulshear is a city in the northwest part of Fort Bend County. It is close to Katy, TX but has a more rural style of living. The majority of Fulshear’s residents are farmers and ranchers but there is a booming commercial district growing. The city is approximately 10 square miles and runs along the banks of the Brazos River. It has both grassy prairie lands and rolling land filled with old hardwoods. Even though it is country type living, Fulshear is still only minutes away from wonderful dining and shopping options. The Irene Stern Community Center can be rented out for any special event you may have. There are also covered playgrounds all throughout the city for children to enjoy.
